Re: in-home services for unsubstantiated cases, AL has 'in-home' safety plans, but the code does not specify whether this is for indicated or not indicated reports of CAN. There are also CPS Prevention referral and assessment policies/procedures, but those are for cases that do not meet the statutory definition of CAN and were never investigated. If the case wasn't investigated, it can't be considered unsubstantiated.
